Where can I use homeSPAN Insulated?
homeSPAN Insulated is specifically designed for ground floor application. Slabs are available in 600mm and 1200mm widths and can be used for domestic and commercial projects.
Why insulate below the slab?
Ground floors can be a significant source of heat loss. homeSPAN Insulated offers the ability to accommodate an increased thickness of insulation (100mm is supplied as standard) without affecting the finished floor level. Insulation below the slab enables the floor to act as a heat sink as heat cannot escape through the bottom of the slab. This results in more even temperature and a reduced risk of condensation.
