Paddington Village MSCP

Parking Solved at Paddington Village

Creagh are currently constructing a new 1,250 space car park at the Paddington Village development in Liverpool, that sits at the eastern gateway to the city centre.

The 14 storey car park will service Paddington Village, a £1bn flagship expansion site within Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter, which will be home to education, health, science and technology facilities as well as residential, hotel, leisure and retail.  We are supplying all the lift and stair cores, as well as stairs, landings & beams.

Opening in January 2021, the new car park met the demand for parking across the wider Knowledge Quarter. With a large number of disabled spaces, 12 electric parking bays and bicycle and motorcycle parking over 14 storeys.  It is also used as a park-and-ride hub for workers and visitors alike.

The ground floor houses a new low-carbon energy centre, which generates and distributes heat for the whole of the 30-acre Paddington Village site. The energy centre includes a power plant to reduce the carbon footprint of the scheme and provides private wire to the car park and essential power to serve the fire fighting services in the car park.
