Shorten build times with an insulated concrete flooring system
Spantherm thermally efficient flooring is being installed on all 118 homes in the development, supplied and fitted by Creagh Concrete Products Ltd for main contractors Rock Homes and Turkington.
Precast flooring is being adopted by a growing number of local house builders due to the increasing popularity of offsite construction and the demand for shorter build times. Spantherm is a pre-insulated precast concrete flooring system designed specifically for residential and mid-sized commercial ground floors. The composite slab combines structural concrete and high-performance expanded polystyrene insulation to provide a superior thermal floor. A typical floor on a detached house or a pair of semi’s is fitted in less than two hours.
Creagh are also supplying Bradstone walling for all homes in Blackrock Hollow. Bradstone is a reconstructed walling system which recreates the appearance of natural stone. The stone is cast in moulds with a wide range of profiles to provide a realistic varied stone effect and is an accepted economical and environmentally friendly alternative to natural stone, comparable with the cost of quality facing brick.
