Creagh’s prestressed concrete products were used on an exciting new build development by award winning development & construction company, H & J Martin Construction.  The prestigious project involves the construction of 81 new affordable homes consisting of a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments.

Creagh’s work on the project included 2,200m2 of 200mm deep prestressed Hollowcore flooring, being installed over the floors.  Alongside the investment of this mixed residential development will also include medical and life sciences accommodation, a multi-storey car park, a central plaza, a creche and retail / café / restaurant and leisure facilities.

Our prestressed Hollowcore slabs are lightweight, yet durable enough to provide floors to support heavy loads.  They deliver outstanding thermal properties and offer improved thermal efficiency in buildings. Floor slabs can be installed at ground floor, first floor and multi-storey levels – reducing the associated risks with time on site and the use of in-situ alternatives.

We manufacture a large range of Hollowcore concrete floor depths which can be used on residential, commercial, education, infrastructure and multi storey car park projects.

The social housing apartments have been constructed to Lifetime Homes standards with all apartments featuring Secured by Design ‘Gold’ accreditation. The development is also served by private parking, communal amenity space and a part-time concierge service.
